Our Painting

Great preparation deserves a great coating. Here is what we put on your home, and why.

Why the coating matters

Southern California is hard on a house

Strong sun, heat, coastal air and stucco that moves with the temperature all wear on exterior paint. Preparation comes first, and the coating you choose decides how the finish looks and how long it holds up. We work with two names we trust, and we pick the right one for your home’s surfaces and exposure.

Premium paint

Sherwin-Williams

A leading American paint maker with a deep range of exterior acrylic latex paints and thousands of colors, from soft whites to deep charcoals.

  • Duration Exterior

Self-priming acrylic latex made to resist blistering and peeling, with excellent durability and color coverage.

  • Emerald Exterior

Self-priming and weather resistant, with exceptional coverage and durability. Emerald Rain Refresh adds self-cleaning technology and resistance to dirt pick-up.

We recommend the line that fits your surfaces, exposure and budget, and we’re happy to share the manufacturer’s product data sheets.

Ceramic elastomeric coating

Cool Life

A thick, flexible coating from Life Paint, made for the heat and sun of California. It’s especially popular on stucco and masonry.

  • Thick, flexible film

A high-build elastomeric coating that stretches and recovers as temperatures change, helping bridge hairline cracks.

  • Ceramic + acrylic

100% acrylic resin blended with ceramic particles for a durable, weather-resistant surface.

  • Built for sun and heat

Reflective pigments are designed to bounce sunlight away from the surface, which suits hot, sunny exposures.

  • Moisture barrier

The seamless film helps keep water out of stucco and masonry.

Manufacturers publish energy-saving claims for reflective coatings, but real results depend on color, sun exposure and the building. We’ll give you honest expectations.
